A New Romantic Lodge Opening April 2026
We’re delighted to announce that our third lodge at Wellhouse Country Lodges will be opening in early April, designed especially for couples looking for a peaceful Highland escape.
This beautiful one-bedroom lodge features a king-size bed, a cosy wood-burning stove, and large windows looking out over uninterrupted countryside views. From the lodge and decking you can enjoy stunning scenery including Kilcoy Castle, the Beauly Firth, and the surrounding hills and mountains.
Outside, guests can relax on the large partially covered decking or enjoy a soak in the private wood-burning hot tub with lights and jets.
With clear night skies and very little light pollution, it’s also the perfect place to watch the stars — and if you’re lucky, even catch the magical Northern Lights.

Set against the beautiful Highland views across the countryside and the Beauly Firth, the stag offers the perfect photo opportunity for your family – especially magical at sunset. He’s a lovely reminder that you’ve arrived somewhere truly special in the Scottish Highlands.
