What are the arrival and departure times ?
Check-in: Between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 - please let us know estimated time of arrival as we do not live on site.
- We greet all guests on arrival to show you around the lodge and explain how everything works.
- Check-ins outside these times can be arranged by request, but may require a keybox check-in.
- Check-out: By 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise approved . This is to ensure that we have enough time to deep clean the lodge and hot tubs before the next guests arrive.
- A departure checklist is provided to ensure guest responsibilities, lodge safety steps, key drop off instructions etc have been completed before departure.
- Please check carefully that you have collected all your personal belongings, as these are often left behind.
- Any items left behind will be posted back to the guest at their cost.

Do you have free car parking ?
- Free, ample parking is available for all guests.
- Please ensure the gate is closed after use.
- Guests are welcomed by our friendly stag, a charming photo opportunity for your stay.
- Security lighting and CCTV are in place for your safety and peace of mind.
- Guests park at their own risk; we cannot accept responsibility for any damage to vehicles.

Can I smoke at your lodges ?
- To keep everyone safe and comply with our self-catering licence, fire safety regulations, and insurance requirements, smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted inside, on the decking, or in the hot tub areas.
- A designated smoking area with seating is available near the fence by the farmer’s land.
- We kindly ask guests to respect this rule, as any evidence of smoking in prohibited areas will incur a £100 deep-cleaning charge.
Are the lodges dog friendly
Absolutely! We love welcoming well-behaved, house-trained, and toilet-trained dogs
- Please let us know at the time of booking if you’ll be bringing a dog, including the breed so we can provide dog bowls, dog towels if they get wet, and maybe even a doggie treat or two.
- We allow up to 2 small dogs per lodge unless otherwise agreed with us.
- Dogs are not allowed on the furniture, so please bring their own bedding or blankets.
- Our fully fenced 7-acre site is perfect for safe walks, and both you and your dog are welcome to explore and enjoy the countryside. We just ask that all dog waste is picked up, bagged, and disposed of in the bins provided.
- To protect future guests with pet allergies, there’s a £20 deep-clean charge, payable via bank transfer prior to arrival (we will provide bank details) or £20 cash on arrival.
- We also kindly ask that guests take care to prevent damage, as any damage caused by dogs will need to be covered by the guest.
