We had an amazing stay, the location is stunning and the lodges have been so beautifully designed and fitted out. I'd also say the lodge felt bigger than the pictures. So many thoughtful touches which we appreciated, and Louise and Alan were fantastic, friendly and helpful hosts. Hard to beat the hot tub with a view! Honestly one of the best airbnbs we've ever stayed at.
This place completely exceeded our expectations! It looked even better in person than it did in the photos beautifully decorated, spotless, and so welcoming. The host met us on arrival and was incredibly lovely, friendly, and helpful, which made us feel right at home straight away. You can really tell how much care has gone into the place. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would 100% recommend it to anyone. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The Lodge is Immaculate, the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The surroundings are really peaceful and you can properly relax especially in the wood fired hot tub.
You can tell that everything about the lodge has been carefully thought through and considered making the stay stress free and easy.
I would highly recommend the Wellhouse country Lodges to anyone.

Everything is new and modern. The place was immaculate. There was three of us and we had loads of space. The beds are super comfy and everyone had a great night sleep. The outlook on the decking has amazing views and so nice sitting out at night watching the twinkling lights. The wood fired hot tub is brilliant, again with amazing views - we were really impressed with this!

Hello, we stayed with you myself and two friends just a little over a week ago and I really wanted to put up a review.
The lodges
are unbelievably done to a very high spec, exceptionally clean and exceptionally comfortable. We however, spent the evening outside, enjoying the view and sitting in stunning surroundings again with very high spec outdoor furnishing.
This was a very relaxing and well deserved break for us. There is absolutely nothing we could fault. Apart from we could’ve stayed longer.
Very friendly and thoughtful owner, who made sure everything was as it should be extremely friendly, but absolutely not intrusive at all.
Decor is lovely again to a very high standard amazing shower and the cooking facilities is exactly what you need. Again all very high spec.
Would like to wish you all a very best and hope you get lots of business as it as well deserved
Hot tub If we wished to do so, however, neither of us wanted to use it. However, it looks amazing and maybe next time I will go in for a dip, but I forgot my costume.
Also love the fact that dogs are welcome as I have two Westies and will look forward to returning with them and my husband

What a magical home from home Louise and Alan have created. We both managed to stop, relax and reenergise - which was a much needed break away from an otherwise fast paced lifestyle. Situated just outside of Inverness nestled in the countryside, you are never too far from a beautiful woodland walk, if of course you can peel yourself away from the view. Just breathtakingly stunning. The lodges are fully equipped with everything you need - so put your feet up, stoke the fire to the wood-fired hot tub and take a moment to reconnect with nature. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wellhouse Country Lodges. Louise and Alan were so warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our toddler. It was such a peaceful, relaxing few days, and there was plenty to do nearby. We’d happily go back and definitely recommend it.
We can’t fault our stay ! Firstly, Alan was the nicest host ! Very accommodating and took time and effort to make sure that we were settled well. The place itself is just as the photos if not more stunning in person. Sitting in the hot tub with the moon shining in front of us with the panoramic view was just beautiful. Thank you again ! We stayed in the Wellhouse Country Lodge for a couple of days to finish off our wonderful tour of the Scottish Highlands, and it was exactly what we needed at the end of our trip.
The lodge was immaculate—truly spotless to the highest level. Its remote location provided a deep sense of peace and serenity, the perfect setting to unwind.
Our host, Louise, was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She offered great recommendations on places to visit, eat, and shop, and was always responsive and accommodating.
The lodge itself was very well equipped, with thoughtful touches such as a proper coffee machine, an air fryer, and an induction hob.
The views were breathtaking—the sight of red kites soaring overhead, hares darting across the fields, and incredible starry skies at night. The sunrise each morning was unforgettable.
All I can say is a heartfelt thank you to Louise for giving me and my family such a memorable and incredible experience
The owners Alan and Louise were lovely. We really liked the decor of the lodge and all the little ornaments and pictures that looked effortlessly placed. The cabin smelled fresh. The little extras of robes and slippers added that special touch. The beds were very comfortable too.
Our lodge was simply wonderful: brand new, beautifully maintained, and with a stunning view that left us speechless. Louise was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to answer any of our questions, whether about local restaurants and places to visit or anything related to the house. A perfect stay – highly recommended!

We used a round trip through Scotland for a 4-day stay in this beautiful house. Everything was sparkling clean, the beds are very comfortable and we lacked nothing. The terrace and lake view was fantastic and we enjoyed using the hot tub to relax! Louise and Alan were incredibly friendly and gave us valuable tips and information! We would definitely come back... We had the most beautiful stay at Wellhouse Country Lodges. The views are stunning and the lodges are just perfect. seem to have everything we needed and more. beautiful bedrooms. And big sliding doors so you get to enjoy those views. the log fired hot tub was huge. We had lots of fun so will definitely be back.
We booked this lodge as a last minute trip with our baby and we absolutely loved it. The lodge itself was spotless and furnished beautifully which made it feel warm and homely. The smart TV, hottub and cooking amenities make it so that you have everything you need at the lodge for a nice chill weekend if that's what you wish. The owners were lovely and were provided a crib for us which was a huge help. Overall couldn't recommend more and we will definitely book again if in the area!
Beautiful view, clean smart and pleasant lodge. Really comfortable bed and wood fired tub with provided timber and lighting materials. Each room has a smart radiator which you can just select a temperature and leave it. Hosts were lovely people who regularly checked in. Couldn't be more appreciative of them.
Had a fantastic stay at Ruthven Lodge over Hogmanay. The lodge is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail and all the thoughtful touches that make it feel truly special. The wood-fired hot tub with its amazing views made it the perfect relaxing escape from the city.
Louise and Alan were exceptional hosts — so friendly, welcoming and helpful from the moment we booked. Alan gave great directions, helped us plan a supermarket stop nearby and even showed us how to get the hot tub going. Their care and attention really made the stay.

The room was spotless, cozy, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Especially loved the view — waking up to the sights and sounds of nature each morning was a highlight.

Absolutely beautiful lodge, we were the only guests at the time so it was so quiet and peaceful! Louise was so welcoming and friendly and my kids adored her! The lodge was cosy and well stocked with essentials. Unfortunately we never had a chance to use the hot tub due to taking a while to heat up and being in and out visiting family so couldn’t keep on top of topping up the log burner but would absolutely stay again!

We loved our time here! The wood fired hot tub was a lovely touch that we really enjoyed. Especially with the amazing views out from the tub. Louise went above and beyond and even brought toys for our little one to play with during our stay. Such a sweet touch!
