We booked this lodge as a last minute trip with our baby and we absolutely loved it. The lodge itself was spotless and furnished beautifully which made it feel warm and homely. The smart TV, hottub and cooking amenities make it so that you have everything you need at the lodge for a nice chill weekend if that's what you wish. The owners were lovely and were provided a crib for us which was a huge help. Overall couldn't recommend more and we will definitely book again if in the area!
Beautiful view, clean smart and pleasant lodge. Really comfortable bed and wood fired tub with provided timber and lighting materials. Each room has a smart radiator which you can just select a temperature and leave it. Hosts were lovely people who regularly checked in. Couldn't be more appreciative of them.
We stayed in the Wellhouse Country Lodge for a couple of days to finish off our wonderful tour of the Scottish Highlands, and it was exactly what we needed at the end of our trip. The lodge was immaculate—truly spotless to the highest level. Its remote location provided a deep sense of peace and serenity, the perfect setting to unwind. Our host, Louise, was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She offered great recommendations on places to visit, eat, and shop, and was always responsive and accommodating. The lodge itself was very well equipped, with thoughtful touches such as a proper coffee machine, an air fryer, and an induction hob. The views were breathtaking—the sight of red kites soaring overhead, hares darting across the fields, and incredible starry skies at night. The sunrise each morning was unforgettable. All I can say is a heartfelt thank you to Louise for giving me and my family such a memorable and incredible experience.
Louise and Alan were fantastic hosts. So helpful, flexible and responsive. The lodge is amazing, even better than expected. Location is superb, rural enough to get peace and quiet (and also for kids to make noise without bothering neighbors!) and close enough to Inverness to nip in.
Everything is new and modern. The place was immaculate. There was three of us and we had loads of space. The beds are super comfy and everyone had a great night sleep. The outlook on the decking has amazing views and so nice sitting out at night watching the twinkling lights. The wood fired hot tub is brilliant, again with amazing views - we were really impressed with this!

Our lodge was simply wonderful: brand new, beautifully maintained, and with a stunning view that left us speechless. Louise was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to answer any of our questions, whether about local restaurants and places to visit or anything related to the house. A perfect stay – highly recommended!
We loved our time here! The wood fired hot tub was a lovely touch that we really enjoyed. Especially with the amazing views out from the tub. Louise went above and beyond and even brought toys for our little one to play with during our stay. Such a sweet touch!

We used a round trip through Scotland for a 4-day stay in this beautiful house. Everything was sparkling clean, the beds are very comfortable and we lacked nothing. The terrace and lake view was fantastic and we enjoyed using the hot tub to relax! Louise and Alan were incredibly friendly and gave us valuable tips and information! We would definitely come back... Absolute recommendation!

The lodge was amazing . Lovely situation, amazing view. It was immaculate and had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable . I was hoping to use the hot tub but I was too busy doing other things. The owner was very helpful .
