One of our favorite activities is cold water swimming, especially at Dores Beach, located at the end of Loch Ness. The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking, especially when the swans swim gracefully by. As someone who isn't a fan of cold water, I can honestly say that I highly recommend this experience. It leaves you feeling amazing both physically and mentally for the rest of the day. You can either take your time swimming or simply wade in and immerse yourself in the water for a few minutes. Take a moment to enjoy the beautiful surroundings before getting out.

NORTH COAST 500

Wellhouse Country Lodges are situated at the start of the renowned North Coast 500 route, where you can experience some of the most breathtaking views our region has to offer. The best part is that you can use the lodges as a comfortable base, allowing you to return and unwind in the hot tub after a busy day of driving and exploring.
